Microbiology Laboratory
To insure compliance with EPA, State and local regulations for drinking water, wastewater, storm water run-off and recreational swimming areas, Phoenix offers a variety of microbiological procedures.
Trace Metals Laboratory
This Laboratory is equipped with two high capacity, low detection level Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma systems. For ultra trace concentrations of metals, two atomic absorption graphite furnaces equipped with Zeeman background correction and auto-samplers, in addition to a PSA Mercury Fluorescence System with autosampler and mercury cold vapor, are available.
General Chemistry Laboratory
Capabilities to meet all of our analytical needs in support of your wastewater monitoring requirements under NPDES, SPDES or other General Discharge permits. In addition to Storm Water run-off. Our facilities are configured for efficient preparation and analysis of large numbers of samples. Our General Chemistry Laboratory can test for Anions, BOD, COD, chloride, cyanide, fluoride, ammonia, TSS, TDS, TOC, MBAS surfactants, phosphate, phenols, and sulfate.
Gas Chromatography Laboratory
Eighteen instruments support your Projects in this Laboratory. This provides high level capabilities and flexibility for analyses such as pesticides, PCBs, herbicides, petroleum hydrocarbons, and formaldehyde. Our facility is equipped to handle any size water, soil, solid or waste material assessment. These types of Projects typically require rapid turn-around times and we are equipped to meet even the most demanding time table.
Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry Laboratory
This Laboratory is equipped with ten of the latest model GC/MS equipment from manufactures like Tekmar, EST and Agilent. This allows for the most accurate analyses with high capacity and the ability to perform a variety of methods simultaneously.
Air Laboratory
Analytical capabilities to meet indoor air quality regulations and to monitor vaporization levels of various constituents under the TO-14 and TO-15 methodologies. Sampling equipment includes one liter and six liter Summa canisters. We will supply these with regulators for time averaged samples or without regulators for discrete or grab samples. The Laboratory is equipped with Entech/Agilent Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry equipment and auto-sampler with multi-position cleaning station for efficient processing of samples. TO-10 for Arochlors and Method 680 for Homologs.
